Renae Geddes“The world is extraordinarily beautiful. My job as an artist is simply to point towards it.”
Renae Geddes“I make work from my body, not my head. Intuition is my compass.”
Renae Geddes“Beauty is feeling safe enough to soften, surrender and become completely yourself.”
Renae Geddes“Making art isn’t a choice for me. It is what I’m here to do.”
Renae Geddes“An idea knocks inside me until I give it form, give it oxygen and set it free.”
Renae Geddes“I want to touch and feel the world, not simply observe it.”
Renae Geddes“Like the tide, we are allowed to move in and out. We are allowed to begin again.”
Renae Geddes“I am interested in the whole — the tenderness, the shadow, the cracks and the glimmers.”
Renae Geddes“There is enormous beauty in allowing something to be exactly what it is.”
Renae Geddes“The cracks are not what is wrong with me. They are how the light gets in.”
Renae Geddes“I am a vessel for truth, beauty and transformation. I do not have to be perfect. I just have to be me.”
Renae Geddes“The world is already extraordinarily beautiful. My work is simply my way of pointing toward it.”
Renae Geddes“The best thing I could wear going outside was self-respect.”
Renae Geddes"You can be deeply peaceful and still wildly ambitious."
Renae Geddes"The goal is not to become someone else. It is to safely become more fully yourself."
